Beauty Therapy - Diploma

If you're interested in a career in the beauty therapy industry, our Level 2 Beauty Therapy Course is the perfect starting point. This course allows you to learn, develop, and practice the essential skills needed for employment and career progression in this field.

The course content is highly practical, covering a broad range of beauty therapy techniques. Successful completion can lead to further studies with a Level 3 Diploma in Beauty Therapy or an Advanced Apprenticeship studying a Level 3 (NVQ) Diploma. Whether you're beginning your journey or looking to advance, this course provides the foundational skills to thrive in the beauty therapy industry.

The Level 2 Certificate in Beauty Therapy Services will be timetabled two nights a week across the duration of the academic year.

  • What you will study

    You wlll study:

    • Health and safety in the workplace
    • Working in the beauty related industries 
    • Client care and communication in beauty related industries 
    • Provide Facial Skin Care 
    • Providing manicure treatments 
    • Provide pedicure treatments
  • Entry Requirements

    You must:

    • Be over 19
    • Have 4 GCSEs at grades 9-3 (A*-D) (English and maths desirable) OR
    • A Level 1 qualification.
    • Final selection is by interview and internal tests.
  • Assessment

    You will be assessed through a range of practical assessment techniques, observations, assignments and online examinations.

  • Moving Forward

    Beauty Therapy Level 3 Diploma or Apprenticeship

  • Duration

    1 year

  • Delivery

    This course is taught on Monday and Wednesdays at 5.30pm-8.30pm

  • Cost and Loans

    You will be expected to purchase your own course materials, beauty therapy kit, uniform and text books.
