A Bexley-based charity, Skills for Growth, is to become part of the London South East Colleges Group.
Ruth is honoured with a first class degree
Accounting student, Ruth Williams has received the news she’s been eagerly awaiting since completing her course last month. She has just achieved a first class BSc Honours degree in Accounting accredited by Canterbury Christ Church University.

She arrived at Rose Bruford College in Sidcup to collect a very prestigious accolade for outstanding academic achievement awarded by the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB).
Daniel's award for excellent performance
A creative media production student from London South East Colleges’ Orpington Campus received his award for excellent performance and unbeatable attendance on-course at this month’s Student Awards Ceremony 2017. He took to the stage to collect his award from special guest Michelle Dewberry, a former winner of The Apprentice and now a Sky TV presenter and entrepreneur.
Jonathon builds a road to a career in the transport industry
Jonathon is a very keen road and rail enthusiast who is determined to find a job working within the realms of transport planning, infrastructure and administration. Ideally he would love to play a role in the planning of rail routes through the capital and claims the main source of his passion for all things transit, is Harry Beck’s classic design of the London underground map.
Not a dry eye in the house as students celebrate their success
There was joy, celebration, applause and loud cheers echoing around the auditorium walls at London South East Colleges' first ever inaugural awards last night. At times, the individual stories of courage, determination and dedication were enough to bring tears of emotion as the audience was told of the levels of adversity and obstacles students had overcome to succeed on their chosen courses.
IT's all looking good for Dylan
Self-confessed computer boffin Dylan, 19, has just completed his Computing BTEC Level 3 National Foundation Diploma course at our Bexley Campus and has also landed himself a dream apprenticeship with the German-owned assembly and fastening tool and material suppliers Würth UK.
