Advance your career in the electrotechnical sector with our 2 days a week Level 3 Electrical Installation Course. This qualification helps you gain a thorough understanding of the essential skills required in the industry.

Employers will provide demonstrations and talks, offering valuable insights into the field. Where possible, work placements will also be arranged to give you hands-on experience. This practically based training is ideal preparation for securing employment in the electrotechnical industry.

  • What you will study

    You will study

    • How to work safely and effectively
    • How to design, construct, test and commission electrical system
    • Different methods of supervision
    • Electrical science and principles
    • Regulations and law
    • How to diagnose and repair electrical faults
  • Entry Requirements

    You must:

    • Be over 19
    • Have English, Math and Science GCSEs grade 4 or above, plus a Level 2 Electrical qualification
  • Assessment

    Exams are paper-based only and set and marked externally

  • Moving Forward

    Employment in the electrotechnical industry.

  • Delivery

    This course is taught on Monday and Wednesdays at 5.30pm-8.30pm
